Do I need to install anything?

No. The app runs in your phone's browser. With one tap you can add it to your home screen – then it starts full-screen like a real app.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Your data is stored on the device, so you can keep working offline. As soon as you're back online, everything syncs.

My German isn't very good – can I still use the app?

Yes. You switch the app to one of 14 languages. Your quotes and invoices are still always created in German, just as your customers and the tax office expect.

Does this affect me as a small business (Kleinunternehmer)?

As a small business under §19 you don't have to issue e-invoices. But since 2025 you must be able to receive them – and with the app you write normal quotes & invoices in no time anyway.
